The Department of Epidemiology provides four exceptional programs for individuals interested in pursuing a career in epidemiology. These programs include a Doctorate in Epidemiology, a Master of Science in Epidemiology, a Master in Public Health, Epidemiology Concentration, and a Certificate in Psychiatric Epidemiology.

Ph.D. in Epidemiology

A terminal research degree granted on evidence of distinctive attainment in epidemiology and on ability for independent investigation.

Master of Public Health, Epidemiology Concentration

A multidisciplinary graduate-level degree that focuses on the practical elements of public health that can be applied in a professional career.

Master of Science in Epidemiology

A research degree that trains students in epidemiological methods and professional development and culminates in a publishable thesis.

Certificate in Psychiatric Epidemiology

Our 12-credit, fully online Certificate in Psychiatric Epidemiology is the only certificate program of its type in the world.
